Hmm,... bros,.. we must do faster than 2016,... sorry-lar if I' m saying something impossible here,... but the very fact that the M gov' t still can take advantage of us, is because they are thinking they have another 40 years to play around with us,... to tekan us. The faster we can cooperate to generate our own water, the faster we will escape the clutches of M.

Hyfluc technology is outdated as compared to PUB new plant . New plant need little space but can produce more water. Hyflux assets are worth less now. | ||||

It was reported that this plant able to supply about 30% SG water consumption.
No worries of Hyflux plant whether operation or not.

Govt should build more highly efficient desalination plant to over capacity and collect water tax to continue investment in desalination technology such that when come 2061, even if Malaysia wants to continue to sell us at 3sen (and buy fresh at subsidised 50sen), we also don' t want because we can do it cheaper better faster.

PUB has their own new desalination plant capacity 70 mgd don' t need Tuas Spring ...only if cheap than buy if not let Ms Lum operate herself and sell it to Johore see whether Dr M want ? | ||||

Yeah,.... looks to be like it then,... the minister also said this : " ...all these are &ldquo heavy, but necessary investments&rdquo , and take time. These investments must also be made ahead of time and demand, so Singaporeans will not face the same problems as Sao Paulo and Cape Town,..."
Necessary investments,.... then with the gov' tstill rushing to build another 2 plants down the rod in the next two years, it would make much commercial sense to absorb Tuaspring, which is a ready-built plant. Just the pirce with which to acquire it then is the only thing that matters now. Msia is trying to make more money from Sgp now, before our plants are ready,... because Dr M knows when our plants are ready later-on, there is no more chance. This is opportunism behaviour... |
