current cap say 1k glove cost 500 dollar = 500 dollars net profit
increase cap to 2k might not mean , net profit will be 1k dollar, never a stright portpotion,
many variables, ppl doing capex planning n costing in mfg will know what i mean.

 Alert Admin 		Operating costs below gross profit does not increase substantially, additional fixed asset costs have to be depreciated over useful life. Gross profit margin % needless to say will increase. That's why all the glove makers are seeing big returns at net profit.

 Alert Admin 		UG's 1H revenue was SGD53M. Companies do not usually disclose publicly their utilisation levels, however many of the players had spare capacity going into the Pandemic, some more than others, Supermax included. Currently, all lines & plants out there are running fully. Supermax, an OBM manufacturer, has raised their ex factory prices from USD25/1000 nitrile gloves in Jan/Feb to USD100/1000 nitrile gloves. UG is also an OBM manufacturer and could be seeing similar price trends. Even if we discount that by say 1/2, UG should have outstanding 2H set of results. If UG can increase 2nd half revenues by SGD15M, which is very very conservative, they should be able to earn net profit of SGD10M (after tax & some higher costs of covid 19 compliance). Any production volume increase will further boost their income. And remember, ASP hikes fully go to the bottom line !! (after corp tax payment).

do trade with cautios UG holder. simple factual to explain how management manage the finance:

revenue increased 65% from $55.7mil in 2015 to $91.7mil in 2019 (good)
but net profit $3.16mil in 2015 drop to $2.51mil in 2019 despite top line increase and net profit margin drop 5.7% to 2.7% (worst).

this is obviously a huge alarm for those planning to buy or still holding at this crazy high price and valuation.

 Alert Admin 		The biggest mistake that SGX has made so far would be the cessation of quarterly reporting requirement.

Shareholders buy or sell shares base on timely financial info to make decision, especially at this covid period, many company are negative or positive impact.

Thus the hot stock like UG has much room for speculative for a whole 6months window period.

Think about it, if UG still report quarterly report on May, now the price will be much more align to actual financial performance.

After coming Tues half year reporting, we will need to guess for another 6 months till feb2021, won't you worrying about to hold or not?

I make some wild guess
UG outperform all other glove companies in terms of profitability scale in percentage.
UG is already trading at discount will have to be recognised and new trading price will be pushed by bankers.
follow by some sell out and price drop abit.

What' s the next juicy news?
Every new Covid Outbreak means more gloves needed ( Price goes Up )
Vaccine coming near ( Price goes down )
Then people start speculating 3rd Quarter Results to be stronger than 2nd Quarter ( Price goes up )
Probably annouce big dividends ( Price goes up )
People start to think when is this going to end? ( Price goes down because people wants to profit and exit )
then 3rd Quarter results out in other companies then indirectly affect UG ( Price goes up )
Story goes on.

What' s more important after this results? The fundamental will be solid! PE ratio will goes down.
at least until year 2021 the news will keep coming.

Hit me a like if you think my assumption is somehow 75% right. :)

Depends priced in or not.
Eg AEM price pre-result is still undervalue base on the PE ratio, so the price gap up post-result. (that's why I bought at pre-result and made handsome profit)

Your money you decide, just think the logic. And after this half year result, there is no more catalyst to boost the price but speculation keep going on.

As I always said got profit just realise it, unless your risk appetite is high. But again this is not a gambling an up or down direction, homework still a need before buying.
