ah haha I entered since late January so can tell I alrd suffered quite a lot liao haha. Luckily I got creative gain to cushion my loss, now average price $3.43 which is the price level to see haha. Hope for the best!

I suggest skip enter today, katek May reserve ammo to whack down before closing. If can close 335 and above 335 should be new support

Har..but we don' t wan to buy " high" from Kartek leh. Becos that would give Kartek more ammo. Now use time to kill Kartek, wait until Kartek cover, then we full forces to run-over Kartek. Er...suddenly, feel bad & paisei to Kartek.

There was an attempt to bounce and sellers at 3.36 were cleared and the price captured 3.36 : 3.37. But the Bull Army didnt stay there for long. Coz the Kartek Monkey immediately came out to announce to everyone that he is still around. Whack the buyers at 3.36 is not enough for him to make a statement. He also whacked the buyers at 3.35 to press down the price back to 3.34 : 3.35. I think the only way to force this Kartek Monkey to give up is for the Bull Army to keep hammering the price back up to 3.43 : 3.44... and to make a clear and loud statement back to the Kartek Monkey...take out the sellers at 3.44 as well and capture 3.44 : 3.45. After that key in huge BUY orders of more than 8000 lots buying at 3.44, 3.43, 3.42...right down to 3.37. Make the Kartek Monkey believe that a bigger and stronger monkey has come on board and that he better BUTT OFF. Otherwise, whatever attempts made by the Bull Army to take out sellers at 3.35 and 3.36...the Kartek Monkey will again come out to put down the rebellion. Small buyers he no scared one. The Kartek Monkey is scared of only this one.

Weekly Shortselling Data maintained by SGX shows as follows: 15 Jan - 19 Jan (7 weeks ago).......... 11,953,267 .....3.58 to 3.62 22 Jan - 26 Jan (6 weeks ago).......... 21,424,224 ....3.59 to 3.65 29 Jan - 2 Feb (5 weeks ago)............ 22,947,474 ....3.48 to 3.62 5 Feb - 9 Feb (4 weeks ago)........... 36,249,672 ....3.36 to 3.49 - a big surge in SHORTing volume to push the price down to 3.36. 12 Feb - 16 Feb (3 weeks ago)......... 17,395,345 ....3.32 to 3.39 - follow through SHORTing to depress the price lower. 19 Feb - 23 Feb (2 weeks ago)......... 18,317,519 ....3.33 to 3.43 - follow through SHORTing to keep the price down. 26 Feb - 2 Mar (Last Week).............. 27,880,946 ....3.33 to 3.43 - another surge in SHORTing volume but of lower volume than the previous. Notice that any attempt to rebound after that big volume week 4 weeks ago was blocked by the Kartek Monkey at 3.43. Last week and 2 weeks ago, 3.43 was the highest the Kartek Monkey tolerated. He repeatedly parked his Armour Brigade of tanks and artillery guns there at 3.43 backed by a full division of infantry soldiers. For this week, he shifted his HQ down to 3.37. This level was reached 3 days in a row on 1st, 2nd and 5th but no higher. Which is why I said yesterday that if the price can clear sellers at 3.37 and stay at 3.37 : 3.38, that will be an encouraging sign but not good enough yet. The bull army will have to charge on and clear sellers at 3.43 as well to capture 3.43 : 3.44 and hold the ground. Only then will we have an 80% probability that the Kartek Monkey has left the driver' s seat. |

Hmm...as long as we dont sell Kartek low, want to see Kartek red backside.  If drag longer, may be can use dividend to buy a bit more...if Kartek dare to throw some more. Kartek...ur backside so cute.

Sentiments have improved quite alot. The air is not as foul smelling as yesterday anymore. But not to say the air smells of bulls either. I think Dow will bounce tonite. And our market will move up a little higher tomorrow. But this will mean nothing to you unless you bought on dips and have something to exchange for your Meal Voucher or Supermarket Voucher tomorrow. It is not time to buy SingTel yet. But it is comforting to see that bargain hunters and loyal fans are supporting the price which must be very frustrating to the Kartek Monkey. We observe on and see whether he comes out to whack the buyers at 3.34 again. He did whack them earlier. At 9.42am, he threw down 482,900 at 3.34. That' s a $1.61m trade. Price is at 3.34 : 3.35 now. Hearing continues...

That's right.. buy for mid term also difficult as price already factored in CD so once XD is -ve.. once trump signs the tariff agreement next few days not sure market up or down even though news and mindset already factored in

The benefit of higher interest rates is most notable for brokerages, commercial banks and regional banks. It' s dividend yield at current price stands at 3.9%. Unless the fed cuts interest rates which is super unlikely. I don' t see how DBS is unable to maintain the current payout with a lot of leeway to spare.

The advantage I have is 6 bids I can run. I in fact saw more than 6 bids but gutfeel says I should wait to see higher. Dow Futures at -6 only...improved alot alot from yesterday. Yesterday at this time Dow Futures was above -300. If Futures turn green later, sentiments here will turn positive. STI is already up +22 pts. All 3 banks are UP now.
