Objectively speaking, the revenues from movie industry is expected to continue at a reduced rate of 50-60% compared to pre-covid19 days due to i) social distancing measures (meaning less filled seats in the cinema) and ii) general drop in consumer outdoor entertainment expenditure The key question now we should be asking about MM2 Asia is: Does MM2 Asia business model have a positive net profit after minus off investment costs and manpower overhead ? (What happens if their original business model (pre-covid19) has a very small profit margin (%) and at the current reduced revenue, there is a need to burn cash to sustain company operations) When the fundamentals of a company is at risk - we have to think long term on whether the current share price at 0.056 dollars is sustainable |

I somehow expected StarHub not to invest further as they see no future in recouping the amount they invested previously at 50 cents a piece. No matter how much they subscribe now, they also can' t average to current price mm2 has been asking for a lot of monies since good days placing out tonnes of placement shares till now they have to issue rights. take care current shareholders. post right pump is ok but to go back to old hey days is unlikely float is huge sell if there is profits after they pump

The complete interpretation of the announcement should be Temasek&rsquo s subsidiary, StarHub did NOT invest further in MM2. StarHub was allocated 114m rights, but it did not subscribe to any new shares. StarHub still owns the same number of shares after this rights issue, meaning its shareholding drops as a result of shares dilution.

This is old news as dilution announcement was done last Thursday night by Starhub. Temasek owns Starhub thru its subsidiary STT .. Waiting for new investor/s to appear.. Dyodd.

My analysis that longists not want to hear:
Temasek not subscribing the rights? Even if they invested, they are known to cut losses and flip off very fast. Eg Marco Polo..... next they dip below 5% means? Any disposal no need announcement. The price MAY precariously re test 5 again. |

This one should slowly moves up..let the weak rights holder sell first ...after the selling pressure dries up..it should go up liao.. .so far 56 well supported..see First reit sideway trading at around 20c right px for so long now also 265 liao.. |
