Poor mgmt planning.  Didnt consider worst case scenarios.  Did SATS plan for contingencies?  It has been more than a month since it announced acquisition of WFS but didnt follow up with details.  The SHs are left to be slaughered because of uncertainties.

Agree.  SATS is $2.68 now.  Who is going to subscribe if RI is $2.79?

I think when SATS  thought of $2.79 RI, it was working on the assumption that SATS price wld be abt $3.20.  With present price, it is back to the draw board

No - I was wrong about $2.29 in retrospect

This is because  the pattern of buying tells me that $2.54 will be the low

I would not buy the quantity I bought today if I felt it would go there   

My earlier assumption was that SATS would continue to get no support until $2.29

The support at $2.54 and todays behaviour at the 2.66/2.67 levels shows me that SATS is a buy now

My earlier $2.29 would have been valid if less support   

I see $3 soon based upon these three   

1. Results announcement ( expected moderate )   
2. Future projections ( expected strong)
3. Announcement on 9th Nov of the rights price and quantity

If it gets suspended pending positive announcement soon then it will be a good buy

This thread is dominated by a very loud few who repetitively share very pessimistic views, on account of a supposed uncertainty and the sad thing is that they actually believe what they say. This acquisition is not for short term quick gains. It is like taking on a large debt to buy a very expensive property that you know is certain to generate an income stream which will pay for itself and more - something which many do on a regular basis.

With such a high PE, no reason to rally... just a dead cat bounce.
WFS is loss making so it is going to drag SATS through the mud. Their massive loans are locked into bonds paying high interest ie. 7 to 8% till 2025?

No clarity on how SATS will pay for WFS and Rt Issue. 

Imho, will hit $1 to $1.50 after Rts and more downside unless they can put WFS back into the green and reap snergies and cross biz, etc.. more like 2025 before we can see SATS back to a growth trajectory.

Am not vested!

rights issue, loans, bonds, strategic partner are nothing new.  But what are new are the details.  How many rights?  how much per right?  borrow how much loan, etc?  the details are importnat
