I only know that I made losses in 15 years of investing in Singapore stocks while I managed to profit from just 4 years of investing in Hongkong stocks. Singtel fundamental is strong and India Aus base is still OK .....yes competation is tough but India is still growing.  Further this 5.5% is much better then bank interest......I doubt Singtel will be dropping for next 2 years with no return LOL Happy investing.
