x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	In the stock market, there are always two groups...   With one group chanting uptrend and another group chanting downtrend...     The problem is both groups can be right...         Otherwise there wouldn't have been people committing suicide playing stocks... lol...

If AAPL goes head-ons with GOOG in San Jose, i would say GOOG will have a slight advantage of a win thus they chose to fight Samsung and HTC instead. I am rubbing my palms together and can't wait for their first desktab to surface on the market soon. Subsequent implementations should be exciting too, though they will need a strong hardware partner too really catch up. I think the Windows OS is still evolving nicely...

Apps and the web will be the rave of the future...

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	S& P 500 targets 1,575 by election: Leo Leydon August 28, 2012, 9:13 AM Leo Leydon of Financial Focus Advisory Services in Pembroke, Mass., says that with the Standard & Poor’s 500  SPX -0.20% having crossed its spring-time highs recently, the next target is an all-time high before election day. “We’re slowly drifting up here,” said Lydon, who noted that the market last week first crossed through its April high of 1422. “People seem to be very negative … yet the market, believe it or not, midweek [last week] was at multi-year highs, highs not seen since 2008.” Leydon’s first target was to drift up to 1,422 during the summer now he expects more. “If we were able to do 150 points from April to August, what could we do from August to November,” Leydon asked. “Is it possible we do another 150 points? If we do, that would take us to 1,575. That 1,575, believe it or not, would be an all-time high. It would take out the March 2000 high of 1,552 and match the October 2007 high of 1,576.” “I think we’re still seeing continued growth, and … we have the elections in November and it would benefit both parties … each side of the table would benefit from the market being at a high,” Leydon said. “Combine that with just 150 points, and I think it’s possible that we get up  to 1,550 or 1,575 on the S& P 500. If it’s going to happen, I think it will happen by election day.”

Sg market is unlike market of the past.  Except for few counters that are always in play, the rest of the market's shares seem under-rated. No body wants their stocks. Could it be that only 2 reasons are causing this anomaly? One: mistrust of Singapore listed company directors for their ability to run proper business? Two: There is no future in the stock market for Sg shares?  Well, I quit Sg and now will concentrate HK or US, Japan or even Taiwan and Australia.  Damn difficult to play Sg as their stocks seldom rise. If the shares rise on good news, they won't stay for a while.  But if stocks fall on bad news, they stay forever down. Anyone of you feel same?
