x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Who cares abt any investigation anyway.  They take ages n still don' t have anything concrete to show for it.  In the meantime, the pumping n dumping continues.  Just look at the volumes of the super n nano pennies.  By the time they catch up with the devils, these people wld have made their millions n probably recycled their capital liao.  As for GS, for sure there are still challenges.  But at least the spectacular loss-contributing items are probably more under control now.  N if the Chinese giao gui start streaming back (not just tourists per se), then there is hope that better days cld return sooner rather than later.  Already we seem to be hearing that the situation in Macau was more  encouraging last mth, n that probably explained the more active trading in casino stocks in HK recently. xxblitzxx      ( Date: 04-Aug-2016 17:56) Posted: Hello all, my personal view on the results just released 2016 2Q net profit = 18,852  versus 2016 1Q net profit = 40,229 (More than 50% drop btw...) (enlighten me as I am new) Tying in facts: retrenchment of 400 workers plus the fact that the casino industry isn' t doing as well (LVS recent results) and despite the fact the Singapore tourism picked up by double digits this quarter, Genting is still not showing better earnings. Adding into technicals: We are now at 0.795 near 0.80 psychological resistance. And looking at history of previous 0.89 high when share price was pumped up from 0.66 and later dumped to 0.70 after bad results. This may be the similar scenario where share price is pumped up to dump again back to 0.70 - 0.715 region. ( I rather look for long at these prices than buying tml or in the near future ) Of course there is a possibility of share price continuing up - maybe operated due to some inside developement not known to the market? (Speculation lol) However, do take note alot of remisers and individuals have been called in for questioning by SGX recently and it' s getting wider and wider. IMO, dangerous = stayout till a decent support such as 70cents. It is a strong company, but why take the risk?

I had questioned the management on the credit policy and   impairments in the past AGM as early as 2012 or 2013. At least now they are focusing on the mass market with has less lendings. The management had in the past, lending money to gamblers who  are actually enjoying lowest credit rating  in the eyes of bankers. Will you lend money to people to win your  money?  What kind of logic is that?
