Hence, investing was easy. Becoz good earnings means stock price will rise. Poor earnings means stock price will fall. Like most people, I had thought that stock prices are entirely random and dependent on normal supply and demand. Until I learnt that stock prices are not random at all but highly manipulated by whoever is willing to put the most amount of money on the table.  Having said that, I would add that not all stocks are manipulated. Those which are illiquid and which nobody cares about or has even heard of, are not manipulated. Only those stocks which have a wide following of investors and traders will see a monkey in the driver' s seat from time to time. The monkey wont be there all the time. When he comes in, he will play the stock either up or down (usually up most of the time) using a PUSH-UP-TO-DISTRIBUTE method. How long he stays in the driver' s seat varies from stock to stock. There  is no fixed pattern. Typically, he will accumulate quietly. Then push the price up rapidly. After he has pushed the price up a few bids, he will key in a huge BUY order to block the price to prevent it from dropping. At this stage, he sells those lots which he had bought lower to lock in profits and buys again to reload for the next push. When he has reloaded enough, he will eat up all the sellers in the SELL queue in one gulp and push the price up again a number of bids. When the desired price is reached, he again keys in a huge BUY order  there to block the price so that it cant fall. At the same time, he will withdraw his other huge BUY order which he had keyed in earlier to block the price at a lower level. If you have access to a 20-level market depth, you can see him very busy playing with the buy and sell numbers in the queue. At this point, he repeats the process of selling his lots bought lower to book his profits and he also reloads for the next push. This process is repeated for as many times as he likes and can last for days or weeks or months. So long as the ground is still sweet for him to continue to do this PUSH-UP-TO-DISTRIBUTE, there is money to be made and he will continue. One fine day when he is done, he will sell everything he has and stop reloading. He then quietly leave. That' s when he do the what I call " Monkey run road leow" . At this point, becoz the monkey has left the driver' s seat, there is no one to do the big buying and pushing. The price then stops rising and the game of musical chair ends. And those who chased the price and are still holding then realise there is no more upward move for them to sell into. At this point, those who are savvy will throw back their scrips while those who did not realise the monkey has left are still queueing to buy. These are the ones who will see their orders filled and they are also the ones to carry the baby when the music stops. I have seen this many, many times. So has the bros and siss I know in this forum. And I am sure some of you in this thread have seen the price action I described above and know what I am talking about. Well, maybe you know him by some other name. But in my thread,  we call him " monkey" .

In reality, RS had reiterated that their products is being differentiated with it's peers in the glove industry. This had been mentioned in their Q2 financial rpt and also the entry barrier is high and not easy for any new entrants/player suka suka come in and take away the mkt share. That's pbbly explained why the ASP for RS is not declining as rapidly as feared as.compared to other glove players. RS wl also be ramping up prodn for other innovative products serving other sectors currently not within their jurisdiction. In addition, their results exceed most analysts expectation and even proposed more than double of the interim dividend Q/Q comparison with a mark of confidence for their full year result. Opined that full year result wl be a sterling one likewise for final dividend . Needless to say, only insiders wl know whether their co wl do well .... As mentioned before , numbers Don lie....
