You are forgetting that many who buy stocks are not punters and are long term investors. You are going to tell all long term investors they don't know how to cut loss when there is a dip in the market? Let me tell you that this trade war won't last indefinitely coz when US feels the impact of the tarriffs domestically, Trump will remove it. Positive jobs data in the US is what is giving US the ammo to act tough, when jobs are hit, manufacturing outputs reduce or companies start shutting due to inability to compete, Trump will eat the humble pie. You expect this downturn to last forever?

Yes, why should anyone bother about comments from NATO. You are right, the current 2k plus paper loss from Genting means nothing to me, but what annoys me is the fact that you are singing the Doomsday tune for Genting like no other stock except Genting is hit by the current downturn.
