SGX and MAS must stop the practice of allowing companise to takeover another listed company or delist using a Scheme of Arrangement, at unfair prices to minorities. The threshold is far lower than using a public offer with a 90% threshold to acquire and delist. This must be fed back to the SG Market review currently ongoing. It is manifestly unfair to retail minority investors, and easy for acquirers to game the system. | ||||

No way they will privatise if interest so high now, will be illogical to borrow $$$ to buy out the trust and having to pay huge interests. Must wait until interest rate drops to low which I think takes about 2 years... Maybe when u see FED interest rate below 3% liao perhaps time to hope for privatisation
