At least out of courtesy I deserve an answer to my posted question don't you think?? A staunch technicalist will not stand behind a BB to make his judgemental call as penned by you by saying BB will hope for a higher price above S$1.19 to sell. Are you expounding from a contra play which the short position will need to be covered by end of trading day or short term play whereby a shortist will borrow shares to sell upon his outlook be it short to medium to long term play if his borrowed shares are not recalled by the loaning party at any time. Appreciate your sharing. Thk you.

Daily is Strong Sell. Monthly is Strong Buy. So? Buy or Sell? If I' m holding for 3-6mths I will buy now based on TA. If I' m day trader then I will sell now based on TA too cos it fluctuates within these few pips and am contented to win just a few pips. It all boils down to what kind of strategy u adopt. What' s there to argue about? Now u guys go check SIA, losing billions and no signs of recovery for the next 6 mths, Daily is a Strong Buy, Monthly is a Strong Sell based on TA. U get the picture.

STA is not a pure glove player like RS and UG nor a covid blue chip like MT. STA is a mid-cap holding company with a key commodity that is traded internationally and been on the radar screen of institutional funds, with annualized dividend yield of 1.42% since 2013 (including current share price). Due to maturing of rubber plantations since the expansion mode from 2017, incoming RCEP potential markets for rubber and their sustainable rubber export-markets, dividend yield is expected to be adjusted in lieu of better returns from their capex. Add the gloves spin-off (STGT) *note is a 49% spin-off as gloves is not the only business of STA so Q4 full year earning dividend yield from FY-covid hybrid income is potential defensive covid ROI for longists.

Technicals is good to share to look out for 1.11 support and a break of 1.09 may confirm there is an alternative to buy cheaper to go long. There is no need to insult nor provoke investors or challenging them to look for alternative stocks in a free forum just because they are not following charts.

Stanley is operating on the premise of his technical charts but anyone is welcome to pen in this forum as I value viewership as explained in my earlier post. I just wish he will not antagonise others with his unwarranted remarks against other mkt particpants long term investment portfolios. I am here not to sow discord among all mkt participants but to create an atmosphere of friendly camadrice among mkt participants where by all of us can share our thoughts on STA to make our own judgemental call to suit our own risk appetite be it for contra/short/medium/long term trades. Hopefully all of us can make money in respect of the trading styles we adopt. Respectfully Joeseph

Stanley Tay..i see your point..i not to.offend anybody just neutral here but I did sell my holding when in STA when it was $1,45-1.50..now buying back at such low level.again with dividends for long haul..see.many.pple shouting for STA to go below $1.00 will buy more then if really H & S formation it should head south ...let's watch.and let mkt do the talking

I must say I am not taking sides as I am a fair minded person and I feel you behave like a very immature person trying to impose your views on on other mkt participants with your knowledge on technicals. You blatantly insinuated that Lim Joeseph just want to get followers and you have been outright sarcastic about it. Like Lim Joeseph had already said in a friendly note to you to reserve your own comments on other peoples' long term investment like using words like "emotional people and what not" as it is their own money and decision making just to prevent unwarranted penned retaliation against you personally and yet you have persisted in your own agenda. Lim Joeseph is just kind enough to try diffuse the tension between you and him and between you other mkt participants in the spirit of camadrice and friendship in this free STA forum. No need to step on other peoples' toes. This free forum is an avenue for the sharing of ideas and you need not try to prove you will be right technically as no body is a "guru". I tell you from my experience of many years of trading using technicals for short term trades in other share counters that I am not right all the time. Well as a friendly gesture please do not know go overboard with your unnecessary comments or remarks against other peoples investment lest you want to get penned bombarding from them. NB: Pl do not think that technicals will overrule fundamentals in these people's long term term investments. These seasoned long term investors including Lim Lim Joeseph know where they stand in the mkt as far their long term investment is concerned. From what I obeserved you penned on CAO you are referring to a short term context which has no relevance in comparison to STA long term investors.

Hi Alpine... i repeat.. CAO was mentioned cos one of the forumers Oldman asked me to name a stock and time frame. Even without CAO, there are many other stocks which are moving up now. Anyway. over the past few days, i have been called names like shallow, immature etc by the STA supporters. Im not sure who are the ones trying to play victim here. But then again.. Its a common sight in the forum, esp when the stock is underperforming

Stanley why do u bother whether the long term fundamentalists look at charts or not. Charts I share with with you are mostly for contra and short term play. Big and arrogant talk by u as you as you only think chart is right all the time, then we all will be filthy rich!!! Talk about H And S formation at this juncture when daily STA Stochastic and RSI is oversold. Let me put on record the short term now is trying to break above the resistant penned by you in earlier post that the mkt will be proned to the downside after breaking the S$1.19 level. Now u are issuing sell recommendations to all of us in this forum to sell on technical grounds of which I won't even dare to issue buy recommendation on STA for even medium to long term investment as mkt particpants need to do their due diligence to suit their risk appetite. No need for you to hype the breakdown of STA as you may have to go back to your chart drawing board soonest. I took a peep into COA forum and you are good at hyping the upside whereas the COA technicals are into overbought condition. Why try to impress others and make unnecessary insulting comments about other mkt participants long term investments which is the crux of the issue now. Actually Im not sure if you guys even look at charts. There is a big H & S formation forming with the neckline hanging at 1.11. It tested a few times over the part mths and again last week. If the BB is kind, it may go up 1.19 to let people sell. If not, probably one way down. Let the share price prove me wrong then. No need all the long posts. I dont read them anyway

Stanley, I am positive you have some sort of attitude problem with your shallow mentality towards others. I am penning in this free forum not to seek followers as generalised by you. I am just contributing my own decent fair value investment thesis as info sharing and I never impose my views on other mkt participants unlike you using technicals to try prove your point on STA correcting further down before wanting to buy by making unwarranted comments like " emotional people and what not" on other mkt participants investment portfolio who happen to be for a buy and hold strategy. I have been ending in most of my posts that due diligence is warranted. We longist here are invested with our fundamental perspective on STA for a medium to long term outlook but you are trying to impress us that technicals will be a better timing tool to make our judgemental call. There again, you are trying to impose on others and I quote " I am here to tell people to focus whats in play through technicals". Stanley, it is their money and I rather you respect others with their own decision making using fundamentals as these strong hands investors just like me are invested for the long haul on strong earnings visibility for the next few quarters just like STA recent insiders' buying. You give a impression that you know technicals more that other mkt participants that they do not even know tinge of it and should follow technicals as expounded by you. You only think we long term fundamentalists are no better than technicalists.
