Sunpower wins contracts worth $235 mil from Sunpower Group, the manufacturer of energy conservation products in China, has won contracts totalling RMB116.68 million ($235 million). The contracts were awarded to wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Sunpower Pressure Vessels Equipment Manufacturing Co. by Xinjiang GCL New Energy Material Technology Co., a wholly subsidiary of Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development Co., and AVIC International Beijing Company. The group will be supplying towers and reduction furnaces to Phase I polysilicon project of Xinjiang GCL, which has an annual production of 100,000 tonnes. The contract value is worth RMB84.16 million. The products will be delivered in 2017 and will have a positive impact on In addition, the group will be supplying heat exchangers to AVIC Beijing, with a total contract value of RMB32.52 million. (&ldquo 中 圣 集 团 &rdquo , &ldquo Sunpower&rdquo or &ldquo the Group&rdquo ), a one-stop solution provider for energy conservation, waste-to-energy and renewable energy projects which specialises in the design, R& D and manufacture of energy conservation products in China, is pleased to announce that the Group&rsquo s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Sunpower Pressure Vessels Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (&ldquo Sunpower Pressure Vessels&rdquo , &ldquo 江 苏 中 圣 压 力 容 器 装 备 制 造 有 限 公 司 &rdquo ) has secured two contracts worth a total of RMB90.3 million from Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. (&ldquo Hengli&rdquo ) and Jiangxi LDK PV Silicon Technology Co., Ltd. (&ldquo LDK&rdquo ). The Group will supply six heat exchangers to 1.3 million tons/year of propane/isobutane dehydrogenation facility of Hengli refinery and chemical integration project, which has a capacity of 20 million tons/year. The contract is worth RMB58 million. The products will be delivered in 2018 and will have a positive impact to the Group&rsquo s FY2017 and FY2018 results. This contract further affirms the strong working relationship between Hengli and the Group, that has previously provided core equipment for Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd.&rsquo s PTA projects numerous times. In addition, the Group will supply a fluidized bed reactor (FBR) to LDK with a contract value worth RMB32.3 million. The products will be delivered in 2017 and will have a positive impact to the Group&rsquo s FY2017 results. This is another supply of hydrochlorination FBR involving a capacity of 200,000 tons in addition to what was supplied previously to Jiangsu Zhongnen Polysilicon Technology Development Co., Ltd. The Group takes the leading position in the polysilicon hydrochlorination FBR area involving a capacity of 200,000 tons. The winning of this contract also lays a solid foundation for the Group to further penetrate into this industry as well as cooperate with LDK and other polysilicon manufacturers in the future. Wah from 30 cents plus cheong until 84.5 cents! More than 2 baggers already. Again divested too early for me. Some s chips are really fundamentally sound and worth investing in. Like CAO, China merchant (delisted), direct, sunsine etc etc. Whenever people slam s chips I will just remind myself of ABL or even Jason holding so as to remind myself not to be bias. Cheers and congrats to those vested. With the latest hugh convertible bond subscription with high profit requirement I think it is a sound and save investment!
