looks more like a pump and dump to me.. mermaid' s fundamentals have been bad for a few years already. funds are not stupid to buy into this type of company. look at the selling and buying.. most of them are selling out.. there are alot more better companies to invest in out there maybe hit and run for this DYODD |

i used to love mermaid when it was running with BEng kuang and Nam cheong. was lucky that i switched to nam cheong when both the prices are the same during late 2024s.. see how much difference the 2 are now. Mermaid isnt on investors radar is becuase of its poor profit margin and tight bottom line. cost is too high for the company and they kept borrowing from the biggest shareholder. their profit margin is worse than a construction company these days. when times are bad this type of company will go down 1st. If the current Q earnings is the inflection point just like all the other marine counters, Mermaid annualised PE is less than 3 at current price.
