Seems like very few people interested in chinese water stocks though  n3wbie      ( Date: 07-Dec-2017 21:59) Posted: any others out there looking at the Chinese water stocks? seems to be out of favour for a long while now and valuations have arrived at a rather compelling level as compared to historical norms. SIIC is trading at slightly above 10x PE, same goes for China Everbright Water (CEWL). only outlier is Citic Envirotech. in fact all three companies have been aggressively winning projects, doing M& A to grow yet they are not being loved much by investors here. SIIC and CEWL are both even trading under book value of approximately 0.8x whereas peers in HK are trading at multiples in excess of 2-3x on PB. any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated!
