Monies credited will be the same as dividends according to the usual trading accounts. If it is Custodian account, it goes into the respective account. If the stock bought has been CDP registered, then it will be the bank account which you hv assigned, else it will be in cheque.

icic got it, thanks ! so if my shares r hold in POEMS (Philip), the $$ will go to my POEMS acct ? same as if in Standchart, the $$ will be in my trading acct ? sry for the many questions. i usually just buy and hold :) |

Hi guys, just came back oversea after spending 6 months in UK. Saw that GLP is not longer listed and is brought over by a china team. So will we be getting a letter to sell our shares ? or how does it work ? |

A massive gum siah to Fataba from me too. Your reassuring and well-grounded posts were what anchored me to GLP during the ginormous squalls. There were so many pumping and dumping price upheavals that happened before we could get any confirmation of an offer I wanted to throw in the towel at a hefty loss save for your voice of reason. So Thank you for your priceless contributions. Anyone knows what the cum entitlement is abt?

I must say a BIG Thank You to you FATABA. I was late to this GLP buyout opportunity and stumbled upon SJ Forum and this thread. I recalled after the FT report that the other bidders were pulling out due to the China team dominance in the bidding process, and GLP share price started to retreat there were doubts if GLP will get a good offer price with a single bidder. I find your posts and expected target price logical and useful and managed to average down my cost then. You and the several other thread contributors who constantly rally us to hang on inspite of the uncertainties of the deal days/weeks before trading halt. You all deserve a special thank you from myself and all those who benefited with gains from the dividends and the coming 19 Jan payout. Till the next golden goose comes along, let' s all enjoy this reward.

Pls that GLP has come to a happy ending for all ( I thk nearly all make some $ fm this counter if u are holding it) With this closing and delist by Jan .....GLP has rewarded many shareholders who hv holded to this counter for investment. If there are the same as dell when they tookover, just leave it there, they will auto do their stuff. regarding about charges, they didnt charge me anything last time, not even comission etc. |
