x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	There' s a Fitch assessment on the spore banks today.  Although these ang mo rating agencies also hau siao sometimes, at least this report more balanced.  Report quite positive.  Nothing abt OCBC being overstretched in PRC, except to mentioned modest risk of lending to commodity sector due to commodity downturn.  Also mentioned abt NPLs hitting abt 1.2% by 2017 (which I think is prudent, normal n  no worse than  in previous downturns).  Also projected profit growth to be slightly lower than this yr.  Now lower profit growth doesn' t mean the banks will make less than this  yr - they will make more, but just that it' s not so much more.  So, where' s the problem for the banks n any real concern for the selling?  OCBC shd therefore return to > 10 in due course (maybe next three mths).  Again caution to dyodd though.  Moomoomoo      ( Date: 17-Dec-2015 08:32) Posted: Yes it will! lglg666      ( Date: 17-Dec-2015 08:23) Posted: Now....the rate hike news is out of the way, therefore this is the time for the bank share to run and this one was whacked by rumours, should do well today.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Concern for bad loan is rubbish, n blatant excuse to manipulate the share downwards.  Tell me over the yrs, since when have banks here not prudently written down loans.  But amts have always been very small in % terms.  N, importantly, how many times the local  banks have got into difficulties for the loans written down.  That' s how people kill the mkt here.  That' s all.  FATABA      ( Date: 11-Dec-2015 09:37) Posted: Do agree tht they hv stop share buy back ..recently ....but big huge buy volume comes in //when push down. Believe downside is limited.  Concern for bad loans are overkill...as prudent provisions was added in last qtr. Results end Jan for Full 2015....w 3 good qtr ....how bad can Q4 be ?
