Sorry Janet, my family and I (eight of us in all) go cycling and roller blading in the wind just now. So I answered you with only a ' yes' . It is Good to invest singtel for long term dividend. Steady and generous dividend. The other investor uncles got clarify and advise. So far so good. I only want to emphasise the point about not everything here on forum is 100% accurate. So need to check and discern. That is why some advise you to read up on the business and company. Like for me, I like technology and military stuff, so I will be interested in these sorts of companies. And I read up on these. Finally, I am here on SJ not to make money. Earning money, that was done long time ago in my work and investing life. Now I only talk cock and sing song, make merry and live out the latter parts of my life before I meet my Maker and my body return to dust. So before that, I make the most of life by talking more before I can no longer do so. A little anecdote for all here: it has been observed that when a woman dies she does so with her mouth closed and eyes opened. A man dies in exactly the opposite way, eyes closed and mouth open. Why Leh? Because a woman has never seen enough but had talked enough while she lived. And a man has seen enough but had not talked enough while living. So, here I am on this forum. Don' t take what I say too seriously. Bless you and your investments.
