Bro, don't waste your time on crack-brains lah. The price already made them stupid and frustrated. They are just merely talking rubbish to vent their frustration on us and irritate us. Frankly, I have not met people who lost and still bragged so much. Typical No guts, Sore losers, Super thick skin, and Cuckold. Better they send their brains for servicing. Some water seeped inside. Can never be educated, but never fail to irritate.

There is a possibility and probability of everything in life.
There is also a possibility of KOM paying SM for the merger and for taking their perils always from KC, right? KC May issue a specie to SM shh for taking KOM away from them.

every pump and dump operation , BBs need ppl like you who do not want to believe is a pump and dump and who will do the cheerleading for them. If everyone is wary and aware and alert and does not fall into BBs P& D trap, then how are the BBs going to sell and profit, the BBs will be the one losing $$$ instead of retail investors. Cheers

There again. People still like to create negative news. As the announcement of merging would be in a few days, I don' t think any BB dares to " Pump and dump" . Who knows tomorrow both KOM and SM halt. I am not saying it is definitely tomorrow. What I am saying is people dare not " Pump up now" . Who knows " Pump" and gets caught.Bear in mind that there is a major shareholder. And is holding more than 50%.Again, I believe those so-called negative guys are trying to suppress the price. They are slowly accumulating. |

Very likely to be a pump and dump but a more profitable attempt compared to the previous one. Merger is a non-event and already priced in. If contract win, unlikely to be more than a $1b worth, in which case it is also priced in at around 9 cts. SCM will need $2.5b - $3b worth of contracts to just break even for the year and it is no where near that mark. So a $1b contract on its own will only warrant a 0.5cts price increase. The smart ones would be bailing out at these levels, as holding on runs the risk of facing another RI. And a merger does not mean SCM will immdiately turn profitable. It will take minimum 2 years to streamline to see any impact to the bottomline. Ultimately still depends on contracts.

Hi dear, the people here bought at 8 to 8.3 cents over the last 6 months and are already sitting on at least 16% profit. What are you trying to prove? Might as well used 10 years data. Even Keppel Corp investors will be made to look stupid by your flaw data. Here everyone is calling for a BIG BUY at 8 cents. Anyway, thank you for your genuine concern. Very nice of you, my dear.

Sembmarine shares jump 11.9% to 9.4 cents in heavy trading
SINGAPORE - In what could be a precursor to a major corporate event, shares of Sembcorp Marine (Sembmarine) leapt to its highest level since mid-2021 on heavy volumes.
The stock of the offshore and marine (O& M) player rose 14.3 per cent, or 1.2 cents, to a high of 9.6 cents, before closing at 9.4 cents, up 11.9 per cent.
Some 457.3 million shares changed hands, making it the most heavily traded stock by volume.
Sembmarine' s surge was in tandem with a spike in the prices of other energy and commodity stocks on the bourse in the wake of soaring oil and commodity prices following Russia' s invasion of Ukraine.
But brokers speculated that the rise could be happening ahead of a potential merger of Sembmarine with Keppel Corp' s O& M business.
Keppel has hinted that it could offload its troubled O& M business by the end of this quarter.
Sembmarine has had a tough last eight years amid a slumping oil market, and has gone through two major fund-raising exercises which has pulled its stock price down to a fraction of its highs of more than $2 over a decade ago.
Although the company reported losses recently, some analysts reckon the worst could be over for the company as it diversifies into the renewable energy market, while also maintaining a toehold in the traditional ship repair and O& M sector.
CIMB-CGS analyst Lim Siew Khee recently tagged a " hold" on the stock with a 9 cent target price, citing improving operational fundamentals and narrowing losses.
She said the worst could be over for Sembmarine with easing labour shortages, more projects due for delivery and an improving order outlook.

Different pp got different perspective even on the same image, so not to say on more complicated stuff. The bottom line is got confident buy/keep, no confident or kenna burn/bitten run, 1st time bitten ignorance, 2nd time bitten stupid, 3rd time bitten no words to say, I am the stupid one, bitten twice....hahaha, now I m on the run.....but we never know, SCM came down from 20cts plus, it wont stay 8cts forever, that why after many many months of dormancy, move to 9cts plus now...we ALL never know, if this will move up to 10cts...11....12...etc where it came down from there before, so possibility is there or it could return back to 8cts....who realy know now why it move up tp 9cts plus, is it really due to covering of short position? I dun know, or is it BB play to lure ignorant or stupid pp like me to go back again and be 3rd bitten which fall under no words to say kind.....hahaha,is your choice lor....I won' t be saying anything BAD about SCM, then it become a war of those supporting it, anyway oso no point to argue about it..what the gain if keep arguing lor.....let the counter itself show you.....we can only guess.... |
