I am not sure there was a lot of ' speculative buying' . The trades today to more ' institutional' - will be interested to see the NVDR net buying/selling. I am refering to speculative buying on STA Thai and not STA Sing as to me STA is the lead mkt as other lower priced Thai rubber counters like NER and Thai Rubber also rocket up today. | ||||

Like I said, any close above STA Thai above 26.75 baht is a confirmed breakup on ABCDE pattern. Looks like STA Thai has taken notice of a rising rubber price short term catalyst to attract speculative buying today to reverse itself out of a whipsaw short term range between 25.25 and 26.75 baht. Therefore, I can say that dip buying is better for choice. STA Sing will follow suit but please do not overpay STA Sing higher than STA Thai in baht terms as STA Thai is the lead mkt. Besides foreign fund instituitons including local ones have been buying into the recent drop from 29 baht down to 25.25 baht whilst profit retail investors' liquidation was well absorbed as evident from their recised upward target proce for a 12 months time frame. The trend has more or less started to be your friend from todays technical breakup ln STA Thai. Stay invested to reap your reward for a buy and hold strategy until 1st half June 2021. | ||||
