NC' s MTN profitle: - S$90mil maturing in 2017 Q3 - S$75mil maturing in 2018 Q3 - S$200mil maturing in 2019 Q3 NC cash position as of end Q1 is about $75mil. Operation is burning cash and not generating cash. Too many unsold vessels built. Can NC survive? |

Unless NC management issue some solid assurance concerning the finances of the coy, I think the price may still be looking for a bottom. NC is very heavily in debt and if I am not mistaken, some hundreds of millions of dollars of loans are due for payment in 2019. It is really hard to see how NC can meet those massive payments. Things are really not good for this once stellar coy. However, great fortunes are made when brave people dare to enter where and when everyone is running in the opposite direction. The only thing is, you will need to have mega balls of steel. |

Bought at .076 thinking that I could make a little profit when NC eventually makes a sale or two. About 2 weeks later immediately after Swibers announcement to liquidate, I knew I had to sell the next day at opening. I could have sold for .073 but carelessly went to make a cup of tea instead. When I returned to my desk, it was down to .068. I sold the whole lot and lost $1k. I knew I did the right thing as the market was busy punishing Ezra and Villianze and it is inevitable they will come down heavy again of NC. By Wed, NC came down to as low as .045. I am very lucky to have escape the brutal sell off after the first day and it reminds me of the importance of cutting loss and run when the situation looks dire. I won' t be touching this baby nomatter how low it goes until it' s financial state is clearer. NTL, for some brave souls, this could be a big money maker if they time it right. But not for me. |

NC is one of my worst loss-making buys. Bought at 35cents. Sold at 7.3cents immediately after the Swiber news broke. And it' s now at 4.9cents. Wow... |

Spot on....blood baths everywhere and hopefully the blood baths can stopped soon, but looking at today closing.....margin calls and force selling will soon make things worst. Sighed!

Similar losses to most overleveraged O& G counters. Oil will be stuck in a trading range for many years, these companies are not going to survive, too much debt, not enough free cash flow.

Just 2.5 years ago Nam cheong was at 34.5 cents. Today at 5 cents. Lost over 80% of its value.

Remember director bought in at 70cents plus just before Q2 period end, around May. Not sure whether thats a smoke bomb or real confident (insider information).

5.3cts CP reached. Normally after so days of decline, there should be a strong technical rebound. This coy Q2 is likely to be pretty bad as there are loads of ships they are building without contracts. Rebound there might be but unlike to be strong. Anyway, assuming trend persists, next CP 4.7cts.
