People are quietly accumulating.
The next big thing is to capture a large part of the wealth management business. Or even units of investment and wealth management companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Julius Baer, Bear Bear & Daughters Pte.Ltd. etc. No, share price will not stay around 41 to 42 for awhile. It's more likely to break on the upside as we end the year with aplomb. Just as Bear will end his year with aplomb in hibernating mode far away from humanity |

I suppose share price will stay around 41 - 42 for a while, until the next catalyst surfaces. Will it be the full year results or the acquisition news? Anyway, it is a tiny bank, similar to the one in Shengzhen, which they bought into, a couple years back. |

Does one realise, YTD gain of DBS is 60% !!! Adjusted for bonus share and special div, and exclude normal divs.
It's almost catching up to our YZJ 70%. Can't say SGX has boring counters .... Progressive profits will always drive shares...cheers

I suspect the last minute high volume is liquidation. DBS CFD short margin is 10% and the share price + dividend has moved more than 10% since earnings. So all kenna margin calls/force close unless they have excess liquidity. | ||||
