The modules can be used in networking home and office computer equipment. But in 2008-2009, coalition forces in Iraq discovered modules from the same shipments being used in the detonation systems of unexploded IEDs, or improvised explosive devices.

Shell has its own operational costs to cover in their thin on margin commodity, long on contract gas business, and Singapore Power will find it hard to justify a preferential treatment for Hyflux in the presence of other loss-making gencos in the free market. Else, there will have to be a huge discount to book value for a deal to be made. I think Maybank will be the first to blink and lelong Tuaspring because, firstly, they aren' t bound by the december moratorium due to the special nature of Tuaspring, and 2ndly, Maybank don' t have the expertise to run the water/power plants and under our strict regulations will probably have to find a 3rd party to take it over or may risk absorbing continued operational losses under judicial management.
