Maybe they do a share placement to some major investors at 8 cents? Sometimes when share price is pushed up pending rights issue or share placement, both at a discount to the last traded price  So if they push to 9 cents, they can issue rights at 8 cents at a discount to last traded price of 9 cents to entice shareholders to sbuscribe for the rights or to apply for the share placement Just my thought.
