Singapore, 28 June 2021 &ndash Specialty pharmaceutical company iX Biopharma Ltd (SGX:42C) (&ldquo iX Biopharma&rdquo or, &ldquo the Company&rdquo ) has obtained export listing status for Xativa, its CBD (cannabidiol) sublingual wafer. Xativa&rsquo s inclusion in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (&ldquo ARTG&rdquo ) list of drugs approved for export paves the way for the Company to expand its customer base beyond Australia in line with its plans to build itself into a global medicinal cannabis provider.

A good explanation is that last year when the company need money, the major shareholders might not be ready to subscribe ( not enough cash due to covid ). Now all the major shareholders are confdent and flushed with cash, its a good time to increase equity and buy in more. Anyway, results and facts speak for itself. Prices will only move up pending a positive rights issue.

 Alert Admin 		Yes, does not sound good.
But there could be good reasons, maybe because they need funds fast and the fastest way is placement.
Being in desperate straits they need to offer huge discount.
Anyway, your point is take.

Yes, the fundamentals look horrible, Piotroski score is only 1, very risky level (on the verge of being bankruopt).
This is why they are doing a rights issue, a quite reasonable one at that, not too greedy - 7 for 100.
But as someone said, a drug development company needs lots of fund and time to develop products.
Now it seems the products are there, so the most difficult phase is past.
Anyway, wait and see. At this point, I feel good about it, but I may be totally wrong.
To get big returns, one has to take bigger risk and I am taking a calculated risk. May lose everything sad

 Alert Admin 		Actually the company is finally moving in the right direction. Funding through existing shareholders for necessary expansion and major shareholders all pledge to fully subscribe. Better than last year when they stupidly sell cheaply to outsiders to raise money.......Expect maximum subscription and prices to push up with concrete expansion plans for growth based on Real Demand!
