Yes, only Tuas spring was in the bidding. Ah Lum may get double whammy, not eoungh to pay the malaysian bank and the bank asks them to top up the difference after sales. Even after the water plant is out of the book, they will still have $2b+ debt. Guess even one bidder with very low bid, the bank will want to sell. The bank has top priority and first in the queue, why will they want to stick with the rest of the 26 banks for money. . |
