The law of compounding is a fact and very powerful,, say we take NIO just a stock as an example,, If u happen to sell before the recent 20% up move, and then buy back after the 20% up move,, u will end up owning less than 20% ,, do u agree??? this 20% is one of NIO best days, and that is just one of them, if u miss 10 best NIO days,, imagine the losses u would have accumulate,,over say 3 to 5 yrs .. . and we only mention just one stock,, we have SQ TSLA PINS and many more, every times 10% to 20% up move u miss,,,, imagine the losses,, , those recent share stock losses in this correction will one day shines and u would have hate yourself for selling and missing it altogether,, i believe their best days is yet to come,,, so dont give in so easily and dont give up .. u will triumph,,your best days is in up front,, |

So u see the chart below,,,miss 10 best days,, your profit is reduce by more than 50% !!!!,, from 708K to 341K... 10 best days make hell lot of different .. So that is why i said buy the dip and not sell and try to time the market, i dont say thing that got no basic..and facts. May u all stay calm and positive next week,, |

Do you know why??? the law of compounding is very powerful.. u see chart,, u stay throughout your profit from a 10k investment have grwon to 708K.. if u miss 50 best days from 1980 to 2018.. you end up gaining a profit of only 62K ... so the best way is still,, buying the dip and buying the red,, or do nothing, and stay throughout, simple,, if u sell and u miss the best days,, u miss huge profit,,, u sell half only if your profit have grown exponentially..say 30% in a short time or 50% or more..

Hi buddies i think i own u all a answer, one PM ask me ... " Vic.. u know there is a deep correction and u did tell us way ahead in advance,and why not sell first and buy back cheaper like u said, I think i need not paste the PM here , in case one day i forgotten to black out the buddy name then i will be cook, First, i must admit we know that there will be volatility before and right after the election and as again there may again we cannot be 100% sure, and also to buy back for so many stock is never easy task,, for instance say FSLY.. 1st buy XXX then next XXX and then 3rd buy is XXX and for every stock,, this is tough, and also satistic show that ...i take this from google .. Looking at data going back to 1930, Bank of America found that if an investor missed the S& P 500' s 10 best days in each decade, total returns would be just 91%, significantly below the 14,962% return for investors who held steady through the downturns.Mar 7, 2020 and market could just reverse as fast as it go down and if u miss the 10 best days in the market u will end up losing more,,,so i think the best way is the buy the dip instead,, rather than trying to call every stock buy point which is quite tedious to follow and share here and also those of you may not be reading could miss it altogether,, hope i answer you.. thanks for asking,, |

For those of u who have no time for mkt,, just buy those etf share here will do well,,and if are 30 plus,, time is on your side,, u will retire wealthy for sure,, and if u are no comfortable at wall st,,, u can buy bank stock like DBS OCBC and UOB,, they are not likely to go bad, and let the dividend to acc more share every years, to compound your return,, But i think SPY will do better, or u can buy both,, SPY plus a combination of sillypore bank..or maybe US strong bank, and go find out whether can use CPF to do that for wall st etf .. it pay better than letting your money idle at CPF, at i think some less than few %.. etf like SPY( the safest it can get) Ark ETF.. and many more, u can google for them,,

When i was young, i remember a movie i watch, it was a story about a watch dog for a temple. One nite a candle topple over and start a small fire,, the dog got exicted and go to wake up the temple caretaker, and the caretaker put out the fire before it get bigger, thus save the temple from fire. The God of the temple appear before the dog the following nite and said to the dog,, because u save my temple i am granting u 3 wishes,, but on the condition that they are irreversible. because i am a god, what i said and give out i cannot take them back,,i must keep my word,,my credibility is important, once granted i cannot take them back, so the dog was happy and for the 1st wish he want to be a handsome man.. and 2nd wish he want to be wealthy,,, well if i am handosme and wealthy what is the point, i need to live a long life. he think nothing beat been alive forever,, so for the 3th he ask for everlasting life,,and the god grant him all the 3 wishes.. and the story go he live forever and married many times over,,have many wives and children,, he saw his loved one ,, one by one come and go and passed away, and was very sad,,, and he go thro many crises of life till he cannot stand anymore and he try to kill himself and commit suicide, end his life,,, but no matter how he cannot dies, because of the 3rd wish,,, this is a real movie i watch only that i forgotten the title,,,so sometimes to live forever is also suffering,, there is no such a thing forever happy and trouble free life ,, diesease free too,, so it with investing,, so be careful of what u wish for,, it may be good for now but not later,,and then what is the meaning of life?? u say. sorry life got no meaning, the meaning is your preception only, we are born to dies,,so is the star , the cosmo,, and everthing in it,, they will eventually passed away so if u have 3 wishes, what were they be?? mine is i want my health back,, but it is a wishful wish,, the best is dont need to wish,, invest right and stay vested,,eat wisely and live wisely.... so come the future, u dont need to say i wish i have stay vested but i sell the panic in Oct 2020....OMG,,. now SQ is 1000 and TSLA is 7000..now i wish i better off drop dead,, end game, so u are down 30% to 50% or even more right now,,,, but come the future, they will give u thousand of % like as in GOOG and AMZN, ad many stock shr here i believe got potential to give multi bagger.. 5x to 10x yr money..3 to 5 yrs out,, so do not be narrow focus,, have confident in your reasearch,, wish u look far into the future, wish you can see dow at 40000,, and nasdaq at 25000.. this is not a wish but in fact a reality,, good luck and best wishes from me,,,we will see this come about and soon..3 to 5 yrs is a short time,,,,,be assured, |
