The negative change is about $2 billion loss. This include one time charge of $303 million dollars, other one time exceptional loss from SingPost and Intouch.  Airtel, Singtel' s associate will likely return to profit for FY2021.  No worry, it is just one time off charge for FY2020. Uncertainity still remain around Covid-19 pandemic. When business/worldwide travel resumes, Singtel will be back to normal. It remains still essential service

There are plenty of firms that specialised in cybersecurity while even traditional banks like dbs already fighting for share of digital banking. Telcos is still needed because we need connectivity. But they can only break even or earn little profits
