What investors face is temporary halt or pull back by short sellers, which r normal for any stock. Look like the forecast by Goldman Sachs of US$4,900 could be achieved by 1st quarter of 2026.  There r also market talk about : De-dollarization appears to be accelerating in Asia and the broader Global South, eroding some of the dollar&rsquo s reserve-status luster. Central banks and retail investors are responding by accumulating gold, pushing prices to multi-year highs. Gold is a useful portfolio diversifier, but it is not an all-in bet investors must weigh currency, liquidity, and opportunity costs. There is speculation and debate about a possible official revaluation by the US Treasury gold of 8,133.46 tons to current market prices, a move that could unlock hundreds of billions or trillion of dollars without issuing new debt. All these news go well with CNMC, I believe many analysts r now wandering what target price to set for this SGX stock... Perhaps in near term between $1.50 - $2.

If civil war in U.S. erupt, or any soverign default, gold price will shoot through the roof. Safe hedge against your other positions. No wonder gold price keep surging as it smells danger...
