My view
If Vard can breach decisively past 1.15 towards 1.20 in a short space of time (1 to 2 months), it can prob achieve the DBSV target well within 12 months. Just a view. No super FA or TA basis.

Vard returns to the black in Q2 on new deliveries and orders
 SHIPPING company VARD Holdings on Tuesday posted a net profit attributable to equity holders of 140 million Norwegian krone for the second quarter ended June 30, compared to a loss of 20 million Norwegian krone a year ago. Revenue for the quarter, 2.942 billion Norwegian krone, was in line with the 2.945 billion Norwegian krone recorded for the corresponding quarter a year ago, falling only marginally by 0.1 per cent. This comes as VARD delivered seven vessels during the second quarter and secured contracts for five newbuildings, taking its order intake for the quarter to 2.7 billion Norwegian krone. For the half year, VARD recorded a net profit of 232 million Norwegian krone, up 38.1 per cent from last year' s 168 million Norwegian krone, while total revenue fell 1.4 per cent from 5.69 billion Norwegian krone in 2013 to 5.61 billion Norwegian krone. |

While condition in Brazil still presented challenges for VARD, it is gradually improving from its 2013Q2 results. I wonder if the market is happy with the pace of improvement. |
