x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The situation in Ukraine is very dynamic.          The stockmarket is affected by what happens in Ukraine now.              The oil thingy is already factored in, but there is a bigger agenda - will there be more than a localized war somewhere in Central Asia or is it going to involve other countries.        That kind of uncertainty will hammer markets.     Unlikely Putin will settle in any negotiation, the way he goes about doing things, he will use a big hammer to decimate his enemy.     Sad that Trump counted Putin as a friend, sad that Americans trusted Trump so much.      But if you look at it, both are liars, so they have something in common.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Putin made such a statement because there are leanings by the West towards intervention.                The West started off with a " hands off" approach, but when world sentiment questioned the lack of support for Ukraine, suddenly there was a flood of statements including the infamous Senator who proposed assassination, and so on.          There was talk of Stinger missiles delivered to Ukraine tp help them fight the Russians, heard it from the Indian media which hosted a forum involving several experts from various faculties worldwide.      A lot of aggressive moves were made in past two days, giving Putin the alarming thought that the West may come in to the war.                Putin' s strategy seems to be to cut off electricity, water, and essential supplies to Ukraine citizens so as to get them to surrender just like what happened to Crimea in 2014.    This would work if Ukraine' s military cannot retaliate effectively and the citizens are deprived such that the only way to survive is to give up.              But if the West come in, Putin' s strategy will fail.        Let' s see in the next few days, what will unfold.      The sentiment in the West is moving towards confrontation, a bit dangerous.          If we look at the humanitarian aspect, the West is not wrong.              Putin may back down given that Russian citizens may not support his crazy nuclear solution to put an end to enemies.                In a nuclear war, everyone loses. there is no winner.      The tension building up caused investors to flee the stock market.          Putin fired into the biggest nuclear facility in Europe just to stop them from producing electricity for Ukrianian citizens - this act caused total chaos because a disaster will kill millions of people.      On hindsight, Putin did not aim at the reactors, but next to it, just to get them to shut down the system - his objective is to deprive Ukrianians and make them surrender.
