The longer the management drag on privisation or merger deal, the lower the price would be. This could be something that the management is hoping for. Imagine SMM' s price is around $0.50-$0.80, and the management delcared the company to be privatised at $1, a large premium over the market price, etc. Many shareholders wil be oblige to sell since $1 is better than $0.50-80. |
