Ukraine is not going to join Nato...so will russia stop here?
Problem is the sanction hitting russia will cost default in debts (u sanction me and still want me to service my existing debt?) and these will ripple thru the world economy.... Banks that have direct or indirect exposure will be hit... Debt crisis is coming... and US is gonna ban russia oil? Man its gonna make everyone suffer... |

The Russians did not shell (bombard) the building. As they approached the plant, remnant Ukr forces fired on them. They retaliated by firing illuminated flares back. This can be seen in the video footages that got circulated. The plant supervisor came out to say that there were no fires or danger to the nuclear plant. I agree with you that accurate information is hard to get. What I notice is that it tends to come out a few days later.

Information will need to be accurate, it' s better to wait for news and not take a position right now. Too risky. Don' t know where the direction will be going. As for interest rates, it' s already discounted in the market. The Ukraine war is the issue influencing stock markets. If there is no accurate info, any position will be considered risky. When the Russians went to shell the building next to the bigger Nuclear plant in Europe, the stock market reacted. What' s next, who can predict?
