Big countries like the US, German and France still getting oil from Russia. The so call sanction are just an act to show that they are united as an alliance.
US can survive but German will be the first to collapse without Russia energy.

It looks like russia still has some buyers apart from China, regardless of the sanctions imposed on them... now RH keeps swinging around this level with lower volume as both sellers/buyers are reluctant while expecting some news which could move the price up or down within minutes... the brave and those with deep pockets could be the winners...

Good for shorting these few sessions, sell high in the morning and buy back later, lucky took profits early, now play shorts. Low risk for oil stocks cos the only risk is trading halt and suspension. | ||||

The uptrend is still on. its normal for healthy pullback like this.. just have to make sure dont get caught on contra.. even if war ends.. the supply for oil will not be able to meet the demands as most of the countries started to reopen. SG soon will have to open up as the omicron peaks. i foresee the demand for oil will last through the year and prob into 2023 as the middle east have to prop out more oill. They have under invested and now having trouble to pump more supply and will take at least a year or so to set the taps running. by doing all these, it will benefit companies like mermaid who is actively securing contracts in the region. i believe RH still has legs to run, now the market cap is about 300m which is only 20x of its FY21 earnings.
