Today is the last day for those contra players who bought last Thursday (last day of CD). So I expect the last batch of selling from some contra players today (T+5). Once selling dries up, based on past trend, the price will move back to 22-23 cents again in about 1 mth time. So best time to buy is now.. 19.9 to 20 cents

If u look at Valuetronics. They gave out dividend of around 1.8 cents in August. PRice was 22 cents. Upon XD adjusted to around 20 cents. Then after 2 weeks went back to 22 cents. Now is 24 cents. So Hafary may do the same thing. Friday will trade 21-22 cents. Then hopefully go back to 23 cents within 1 month time. So u earn the dividend or if u buy on Fri XD, earn around 2 cents. Let see if my prediction is correct or not :) |

haha.. wow .. ever since u sold ur hafary, u sound very pessimistic about hafary :) By the time good news appear, the price already gone up liow. The trick to earn is to buy BEFORE the good news which means one has to anticipate whether Hafary will be announcing good set of results next Feb or whether they are going to do a Sale and Lease of their properties with a Reit..

our SGX very one kind. Hongkong China , USA go up a few hundred points, our STI unchanged or + a few points. When other markets drop abit, our STI drop more than 10 points. When other markets drop quite a lot, our STI drop more than 30 points. When other markets crash, I think our STI will drop below 3000 points liow.. Really " world" class exchange. The CEO of SGX still getting his bonus?

If want to buy for div today last day cos book close 17dec. Otherwise think wait after it turn xd.most shares lao sai so much.super sian.dare not refresh to see updates in prices. Wait for next week like what supermonkey said...sigh | ||||

hopefully next week Fed meeting no tapering or just 5 billion. Then US congress has just reached an agreement on debt limit , so if no tapering means we would have a sort of relief rally till next Jan. Then worries will return next Jan when FED meets again. Short term I still see a short mini bull if there is no tapering. So Hafary upon XD I predict will trade around 21-22 cents. And during the mini bull, it will rise to 24 cents again and then back to 21-22 cents. So buying at 23 cents now is like earning the 2.5 cents dividend plus maybe 0.5 or 1 cents profit when sell at 24 cents during the mini bull. :) Just my prediction

Next year dividend driver will be based on earnings.. so may not have such a huge dividend as in this yeare but I predict around 2 cents for FY14 as their profit will improve substantially due to the expansion in their business as well as the HDB project. Khaw may have announced tapering of BTO from 2014, but those BTO that has been sold this year and the last few years, most of are been built or going to be built. So for the next 2-3 years, there will be a lot of BTO been build which means business for Hafary for the next 2-3 years. Of course after 2016, perhaps we may see a slow down in HDB contribution to Hafary. That's 3 years later. This year dividend is almost 5.5 cents due to the profit from the sale of their aljunied properties. Their new Eunos HQ, if they do a sale and lease with a Reit, they will recognise a potential of around $20million gain which will mean more dividend. Based on the above, UOB Kayhian has a target price of 33 cents.
