I saw Halc 1 report in 2019, they have big plan, acq 100k hec land in Africa, 38 k hec are planted w rubber yrs bk, harvested gradually this yr 20+k MT, full in 5 years ard 65k MT in 2026. Has plantation community of African too setting up school etc like small town, in a way helping local community. Some market reports state that, not much new lands planted w rubber since 2014 due to low price etc. In Msia, lots convert to oil palm. So coming supply cant cope w demand as rubber tks 6 yrs to produce. Price of rubber coming yrs shld b gd. So if this counter like normal one, worth to hold long term. Lets see in 2 qtrs how it is.

The results shld be gd as price and volume are both gd esp in May & June futures as i stated earlier. Price shld move bk 40+. If price not moving, no point to keep further.

UOB KH and GoldSach buying in n selling out at 1 to 7 lots which mean only in share of 100 up to 700 to control the price and from the chart, large volume can suddenly pop out of no where just to create the volume but when the price is reached, the volume just disappear. So look like no matter wait how long, as long as they keep playing with the price and volume it will not raise and continue to fall. Lastly, the company also no feel like doing anything to push up the price.... no notice or even news to mention on the high rubber pricing. Now both ave more than 2500 units x 5 MT = more than 12,000 MT daily each for May & June. Those hv holding power shld wait for 2 more qtrs results. The current share price does not reflect. When volume & price are both up. Hal shld do much better.

China growth expected 8% this year although set at 6% by gov coupled w this co has China connections, presence there. No reason Hal cant perform next 2 qtrs. I will hold for 2 more qtrs, if still the same, then no point.

The balance sheet however is weak, which is masked by their perpetuals, of which half are accounted as equity. They' ve not done well, in terms of generating shareholder returns over the years. Remains to be seen what the Chinese owners are going to do with the company.

Tyres will be produced more in 3rd world country, lower in cost, this will promote higher sales and higher demand in rubber in near future. Recently, EVs are new direction. Every new EV car needs 20kg rubber and compared to tyre change per car per year is 7kg. So more new cars, more rubber used. Giving 2 qtrs will be able to judge if this counter is growing w TSR20 price. Especially May, can see rubber future sales peaks. Hopefully more demand peaks coming.
