Using percentage doesn' t give a clear picture of the excess rights allocation. As stated in the company announcement (earlier post furthr down below), there are 26.6m rights shares fm the public pool that were not appplied for which are then alloted to those who subscribed for excess rights. For those who are entitled to only a few thousand rights, if they apply for another few thousand excess rights, they are most likely to get full alloccation. But for big holders who are entitled to tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands rights (which there are many such dividend income retail investors in SG), they are unlikely to be alloted lots of excess rights ----- these shareholders are more likely to be allotted only a small percentage of their 50,000 or 100,000 excess rights application.

I believe him. I was alloted about 6400 plus, and I round it up to 10,000 including excess and got all of them.  Where  the excess came from, I don' t care, because it was supposed to be over 50% oversubscribed. I suppose the manager and insiders gave up part of their rights....

Usually one day after you are alloted the shares, and will be credited back into your bank account you use to apply.... some banks may take one or two days longer.  if by bank draft, they will send you a cheque, and that will take a few days after you receive your rights. I think the successful subscription will be credited on the night of 20 july or morning of 21. do check your CDP account. today, great closing at 0.65, up 0.015 cents..bode well for the stock when rights trading begins.

IReit Global' s preferential offering closes 151.2% subscribed
IREIT Global' s preferential offering closed on Monday with valid acceptances and excess applications amounting to 151.2 per cent of the offering, the Reit' s manager said in a regulatory filing late on Wednesday night.
 
About 201.1 million preferential offering units will be issued at 59.5 Singapore cents per unit, raising gross proceeds of about S$119.7 million.
 
Together with gross proceeds of about S$7 million from a placement to Bond Capital Partners, IReit will have raised about S$126.7 million in gross proceeds in this latest fund-raising exercise.
 
At the launch, the Reit' s manager had said that net proceeds will be used to partially finance the acquisition of 27 retail properties in France, which cost around S$195.7 million.
 
The new units are expected to be listed and quoted on the Singapore Exchange mainboard from 9 am on July 21.

Retail and office S-Reits with higher occupancyIn a previous publication of Reit Watch, we noted that the average occupancy rate of the sector (excluding hospitality Reits) decreased from approximately 96 per cent as at March 31, 2020 to 95 per cent as at March 31, 2021.The pandemic had varying degrees of impact on individual retail and office S-Reits, which were sub-sectors that saw the biggest dips in average occupancy rates of 2.1 and 1.9 percentage points (ppt) respectively. However, there were three retail and office S-Reits that maintained or saw a boost in occupancy rates (based on reported data and barring methodology differences): IReit Global IREIT Global, Elite Commercial Reit EliteComREIT GBP and Frasers Centrepoint Trust Frasers Cpt Tr. IReit Global (IReit), the first S-Reit with a Europe-focused mandate to be listed, has a portfolio of five office assets in Germany and four office assets in Spain, valued at approximately 719.6 million euros. IReit was the only office S-Reit that saw a year-on-year increase in occupancy rate in Q12021. The Reit had a portfolio occupancy rate of 95.9 per cent as at March 31, 2021, up from 94.7 per cent at at Mar 31, 2020. It noted that the pandemic had limited impact on its portfolio in Q12021, with no requests for rental rebates or deferrals from tenants and that all tenants continued to pay rents for Q12021. In April 2021, IReit announced plans to add retail assets to its portfolio. The acquisition consists of 27 retail properties located across France, based on a sale & leaseback arrangement with Decathlon for approximately 110.5 million euros. The acquisition will create an enlarged portfolio of 35 properties across Europe, valued at 833.5 million euros, and boosting the portfolio occupancy further to 97.0 per cent.   |

Oh, I forgot to mention, in case some people don' t know, CDL also acquired 50% of the Trust' s Management in 2019. So not only CDL has a 12.4% share in the company, it holds half of its management interest as well some brief info of the IREIT, if you new investors....

Done my subscription, plus 60% more excess. I don' t think this rights will do as fantastic as ARA, but still it will be well supported and it' s a very good bet for the long term. Do note that in 2019, CDL paid $0.76 per share for a 12.4% in IREIT, from Shanghai Summit and SSH Lim Chap Huat. CDL put up a statement at that time that  " Besides being earnings accretive  with immediate contribution to our recurring income through management fees and attractive yield, the investment in IREIT Global complements our existing CDL Hospitality Trusts and will strengthen our REIT management expertise.&rdquo   at one time this REIT attracted a lot of interest from various gaint REITS company, in particular Mapletree Group, who were looking to M& A it,   but with CDL investment in the company now, I doubt it will ever happen, as CDL may look towards consolidating or strengthening its REITS portfolio. But still, never say never, especially with CDL' s troubles in its China property business.  in that respect, I see great potential in this REITS. it has been paying good dividends even in pandemic years. I  see the price going back to its usual 0.70 to 0.80 region, once the virus dust settled.

Of course you can! I did mine without even opening my letter of offer. Just go to ATM, look for " other services/more services" then go to the " rights" indicator. You will see IREIT and OLAM. Just click on IREIT and follow the instructions. Nowadays, if you are using DBS/POSB ATM, they don' t separate entitlement and excess, so, you have to combine both together. In your case if you want another 360 ecxcess, for example, to round it up to 2500, just key in " 2500" . Bank charges you $2 for this service... if you are doing for first time, get a bank staff to assist you, but it' s quite easy. I believe Monday 12 July is the closing date, so it' s too late to subscribe via bank draft, because it has to reach CDP before 5pm, unless you go to CDP office at Metropolis personally on Monday. Otherwise do via ATM, or internet banking before 9.30 on Monday. Good luck!
