Further settlement till 14th Apr is a long time. ​ IF ( only IF ) the US gp offer a higher bid ( even same condition ) BUT an earlier completion date ( say Jan/Feb) ....this wld be an advantage. The extreme scenario cld be having owned more than 25% of shares, they may propose a higher bid price after XD. At that point in time, the chinese has no choice but to match / increase bid offer, and everyone gains. However, any proposal offered by the americans will have more conditions than the chinese.
