Guys, no right or wrong lar. Keep some and sell some is normal trading. Sell to buy other counters is perfectly normal as I would too as I won' t put all eggs in one basket. I believe every investor manage a different portfolio. Plus you can' t stop someone from selling but always welcome more buyers for sure! Whatever it is, the overall market is slowly recovering. Everyone should be happy about it but remember hor.......I am no Warren Buffett hor! The key word......DYODD! |

Covid will never clear out totally. Ffff. Listen and look. That is a scenario we must prepare for. Like it or not. You want bullet, then sell away those lose money one and keep your winners like singtel. You will not regret it, trust me. I learn already. Now I transfer my knowledge to you all like what most investment managers have done in past. Cut your losers. Let your winners run! I used to open coffee shop, but no business. So what I do? I closed it down. I used to have book stall, but no readers. What then? Closed it down. But I had an engineering business in a locale where engineering services were needed and it took off with the money invested from whatever I had left over from coffee beans and books. Now I have an investment portfolio, and it is doing well. Do I close it down and return to selling coffee and book? No, I let it fly till I die...

You sound retired with no other means of income support. Then frankly, you should not have invested so much in stocks until your livelihood is so dependent on it. It could so very easily have been worth much less and then you are forced to sell. A true investor very hardly ever is forced to sell. If he sold, he would have done it earlier so that he does not need to sell for his immediate needs. He sold long time ago because he anticipated he would need it at a future point in Time especially when times may be hard, like now. Sell one lot then and see. Do not divest all unless you wanna change investments. My honest advice, don' t take it too hard...... see you on the trading floor next week , tomorrow!

You must be over invested ffff. Why sell singtel to raise money, if you have a Lot? you will get a big fat dividend come Jan. Unless u wanna invest elsewhere. You dun sound like a singtel investor but a day trader or a contra trader. There are better stocks to contra out here. Dun waste time here. This is Singtel, not Catalist stock.

Only Singel, Grab & Sea sound sensible to win for me.. Shopee & Grab very huge in SEA & have hundreds of million users Singtel biggest telco in sg & has alot of subsidiaries & diversified investment. |

SG annual fintech festival begins on 7 Dec and will run for 5 days. Remember Singtel/Grab remains in the race as one of the digital bank contenders. Some may already think Singtel stands a good chance. Other countries have their own like Monzo, Revolut, Discover - it is about time SG has its own. IMO

I don' t have the power to hype Singtel price up lar. If I do, I won' t be replying to you liao as I will be too busy sipping kopi in Hawaii beach front house. As mentioned to all, which includes you........DYODD. Everyone have different ways to manage their own portfolio. Some will keep and brew and some will just stick to cash. That is why i mentioned that those who are new should do more homework regarding this script options and don' t just follow blindly. What we post in here may not be 100% accurate data. zerocooler is trying to hype SingTel up. Nothing wrong with that. But some of his suggestions are inane. Eg to subscribe to scrip dividends will depend on the price before Dec 30, how much dividends you are getting etc. He simply ignores all these these and keep trying to 'will' the share price up. Machiam like Trump. He thinks that by keeping hyping SingTel, SingTel share price will go his way. PS: I am also holding some SingTel shares. | ||||
