She was the reason why so many MRT commuters have been suffering for the last 5 years. Furthermore, without an engineering background, she might now have achosen the best hardware and software for the MRT system. However, she did well in terms of building up the retail network, but that should be considered peripheral,  instead, she sacrificed the commuters. I seriously hope Temasek make it right again. Not for my sake, but for my children and the future generations to come. MRT is here to stay, so might as well make it work. Free things are always subject to massive abuse, and we may end up having trains that are more crowded than they should be. However, many countries do heavily subsidise the mass transports. I heard that New York subways are perennially losing money. I live there more than 10 years ago.
