Hi. I only see the same matter (method) or thing to happen in China, just like in M'sia. Still those BBs will prop up n sell to un-suspecting players.
Basically when some good news or rumour fly, they also want to pump up n distribute their share too. (Pump n dump)

For the same reason.
Q& M Dental Group has acquiried such operations, but was not able to keep a tight check on this Malaysia' s operations resulting in lack of control over this part of its business. Thus, for the same reason. Perhap the strategic rinvestment in China could have something to do with this Malaysia side operations.

Even though it maybe an outdated article, I think it is much worth a read especially for those who are vested in Q& M Dental Group. The group has gone on an acquisition spree after it was public listed. The method of stellar growth for this group so far has been focused on its acquisition strategy. Do not just look on the surface how much the group has delivered so far. Do question the quality of the revenues and earnings growth. Are they sustainable? Are the new businesses being acquired by Q& M Dental Group good businesses that can continue to deliver good consistent growth going forward? Or is Q& M Dental just acquiring new businesses based on financial engineering reason (acquire businesses on the cheap valuations but may not deliver well in future) and did not do a thorough analysis how the new businesses can really perform in future and fit into the whole group providing synergy? We would want any new acquisitions to fit into the whole group' s business and provide synergy. Every new businesses being acquired must be individually good businesses and should also fit and merge into the whole group' s culture, operations and provide synergy to each of its other businesses. We are not trying to acquire many unrelated businesses of mediocre quality which do not fit together. These unrelated businesses may not only individually is not going to deliver but also will drag down the whole group' s business sucking resources from the group to maintain a sup-par business. I am not trying to imply anything problematic with Q& M Dental Group. Just to bring out an important caveat when we look at growth which is focused on acquistitions. Be careful of conglomerate bubble syndrome which may burst due to indiscriminate growth by aggressive continuous acqusitions by any company. This is a common problem with chasing growth solely by inorganic methods of acquisitions which is fast rather than organic method of growth which is slow. But, do be careful of too fast a growth which may not always be necessarily good for a company.

If one follows Q& M Dental Group news so far, there are a few possibilities concerning this strategic review. One is concerning its Malaysia' s operations which Q& M Dental Group has faced some problems with the professionalism of a few of its dental practitioners. Q& M Dental Group has acquiried this Malaysia' s operations sometime ago but was not able to keep a tight check on this Malaysia' s operations resulting in lack of control over this part of its business. Thus, maybe the strategic review could have something to do with this Malaysia side operations. Another one is the proposed spin-off of its China manufacturing business to be quoted on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations of the People' s Republic of China. The strategic review could also be related to this spin-off of its China manufacturing business to be listed on the PRC' s exchange. Yet, it could be other new developments such as Q& M Dental Group is intending to acquire another new company or it itself is being targetted to be acquired by other larger dental groups. If there is any positive material impact due to the strategic review, it will certainly benefit Q& M' s shareholders. I doubt Q& M Dental Group will carry out any decisions from its current strategic reviews which will be detrimental to its business and shareholders. I have seen the group' s founder and CEO conducted a talk on SGX before. He seems to be a sincere and passionate guy in growing and running his founded business. Let' s hope Q& M Dental can continue to deliver for those who are vested.
