Persistent price competition and margin dilution caused by the NBN are likely to continue to weigh on Optus' earnings profile. - On June 9, 2020, S& P Global Ratings affirmed its ' A-' issuer credit and issue-level ratings on Optus because we continue to view it as a core subsidiary of the Singtel group. IF a vaccine is found by 2021, Spore n Singtel will b position well.  Look at the strong 10m share support at 2.50 today just after a set of bad result . (I read this positively )  However, its also true that past 3 mths where doom n hell break lost ...we dont even know how deep is the hole ....is there a bottom.  Everything is a gamble ....at aro 2.50 now ( all conditions consider.....maybe its worth it )  Just my view ....may not b right ....but for that person at 3.30 , certainly she/he should hold at current situation.  Dyodd ...and certainly it they own decision . From business perspective, u pump in billions to build up infrastructure for 5G network, how soon can u recover this sunk costs from consumers? Do you forsee telcos charging double or triple price to consumers for 5g? Or will there be competitive pricing? Or end up, consumers still pay current price but telco provide 5g capabilities. Note that telcos are desperate to retain customers And if i really want to buy telco, i rather buy starhub over singtel. Singtel diverify across many countries means it need to pump in billions more to build up 5g networks while starhub focus only in sg.
