Mutli purpose uses you have hotels as choices. Plenty.
Cinemas take up too huge "commercial space" .
I dont really like this biz.
And they make it into smaller multi halls cinemas.
Dont really enjoy the experience. Feel " 压 抑 " .
Might as well buy good home theathre system watch at home with internet online .
Unlike old cinemas very big space experience shiok.

You are right ! Unless they change the model of the biz for Cinemas should not just like a Cinemas, Feature it as mutle propose for utilisation . Biz cannot keep maintain it as old fashion.

mm2 Asia acquire Cathay Cineplexes for $230m
I guess buying cathay cineplexes "was a mistake" . Rentals will keep going up. People are watching less movies nowadays. You go cinemas weekdays. Almost empty most of the time. Even at huge discount ticket prices. The aircon running whole day electricity bills not cheap nowadays. If cinemas good biz , how can Netflix flourish ? |

but share split is a good thing in comparison to consolidation. isn' t it? i guess the main concern is how fan bing bing case would impact MM2 since her manager just bought mm2 shares early this year.. also if MM2 is banking on fan' s company as a stepping stone into china, what will the implication be?
