This is the benefit that we enjoy, and Sg gov want since it bring up the technology within Singapore and benefit other sectors and industry. If there are only 1-2 service company, yes they will be monopoly and earn good profit but they will move the technology upgrade slowly to maximise their profit or even 1 do, the other may not since they may focus smaller group which hate another company. But once move to 4 companies, the competition will be different, gov sit down do nothing, the service company will upgrade and make Singapore own 1 of the fastest network system. Whether gic or Temasek earning or not through both company, it is relatively small issue since both company are just minor investment in their portfolio. StarHub and m1, are bounced with too oversold in a bull market, before or after result release, back to same worry, this is made use by Traders for a beautiful pump and dump. It may go even lower than 2.7-2.8 with market worry

Your Dividend (rounded up): 6.6% per year (excluding decimals) Therefore you can collect $19,736.84 per year (including decimals) Just by collecting dividends over 15.2 years, you can collect your 300k back (Assumption if Dividend payout remains the same yearly) While you still have your Starhub stocks. StarHub is a telecom stock which is fairly stable in revenue & had outlet all over Singapore. No matter after crisis, StarHub will still be opening business unlike other stocks. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	When most investors exit, i accumulated 250k worth of stock in starhub today.I do expect the value to decrease further.However,i heard good news from the industry. A word of caution to dismiss starhub --its ENTERPRISE SERVICE profit has grown tremendously and based on industry news it has offset the fall in mobile service and has regain a new strategic pole in starhub management.Going to see a sharp increase in starhub prices next week
