x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Wow UOB is now OVER $3 cheaper then DBS ???  It was giving out 55c dividend every half year before MAS cap came in / excluding a special 20c dividend in 2019  DBS was 33 c if not wrong ( quarterly ) and OCBC 28c half yearly . x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	UOB result is 25th Feb and so the other 2 banks will be aro that last week of Feb ( JUST after CNY )  So dividend payment ( UOB n OCBC is half yearly could be on the UP side now IF the cap is removed OR improved )  Bside the other 2 points of EXCESS provision ( $B ) and large share buy back .....Mr Biden is again giving the stock market some reasons to rise ( see below ) OCBC is still trading just below its BOOK value .....added w NEW lady CEO .....expect some good cost cutting and dividend payout for her to justify her position and making shareholders happy and supportive ( lol v normal ) UOB does not justify trading over $3 below DBS .......in fact it has not got any major bad loan ?    W new condo launches and rising number of house unit sold ....these  loans are rising again  ONCE thing for sure ....for STI to return to 3200 ...out 3 banks has to rise ....and trading at 1.2/1.3 X their book is very normal  DYODD and happy investing for 2021 ......hmm our bank target for this year will be interesting ....leading by DBS  [WILMINGTON] US President-elect Joe Biden said Americans need more economic relief from the coronavirus pandemic now and that he will deliver a plan costing " trillions" of dollars next week.
