it has to be huge discount, that is the only way to win order and build that offshore experience. YZJ profit should decline for the next 1-2 years. I am guessing there will be buy on the dip opportunity during thus period. Divested and waiting for reentry.

Not counting options. Its 850m. 425m per semi sub. Appears to be low price. Same model enquiry to semb is 600m.

Statement Re: Media Reports Amedeo Resources plc (AIM: AMED) notes reports in the media in connection with Jiangsu Yangzijiang Offshore Engineering Co Ltd (" YZJOE" ) being contracted to build semi-submersible drilling platforms. Amedeo has an indirect 18.6% stake in YZJOE.
Amedeo confirms that YZJOE has reached agreement subject to conditions precedent to build two semi-submersible drilling platforms for Primepoint Drilling PTE Ltd. In addition, an option on two additional semi-submersible drilling platforms has also been agreed subject to conditions precedent. The total value of the contract and options is approximately USD 1.7bn. Delivery of such platforms takes around three years.
Further announcements shall be made as appropriate. |

BUT IF, the huge contracts are finally announced formally...........and brokerage house again adjust their target price and cal to buy.............. 45% up would be close to $2 ? :) Its a possibility - with such rare huge contract win....of a SGX stock... News should spread all over the papers and brokerage house starts to make a " BUY call" with more than $2 target......... Now still best entry price - if all thing goes the way it is with no world's crisis looming..:) |

Overall crazy 2 days................ Yesterday it was............up...good day hit 1.16 than on close it slip quickly from closing time ..-> 1.15 Today..............reasonable big volume traded......... hit 1.165 in the opening hours than its all the way down ghoover up and down between 1.13 - 1.145 Even near closing it was like 1.13..............than..on closing it can go back up to Yesterday's closing price of 1.15.... Strange pattern. Its like some big pocket trying to push it down to collect more...............than in the end eats all asking to move back up to square one........... |

Wonder when will the formal announcement be made................ Even if contract not formerly sign.......can always announce as " on going.............subjected to..." Nothing............ Even recently won contract also never announced wonder why so laggard in reporting to its shareholders.......... |

btw....YZJ normally announce all their contracts wins together.... i reckon they maybe doing it during the FY results....soon i reckon.....last yr was around 22 Feb.... pop corn and potato chips...and beer ready....
