Medtecs roots it?s self as a Philippines company and has since evolved into a contract manufacturer providing a range of medical products. In this particular episode of the Wuhan virus , all Hospitals , from US to , most importantly , Singapore requires their hospital staffs (whether administrative or ground healthcare workers ) who are dealing with suspected patients to wear PPE( personal protective equipments such as stringent masks , gloves and especially in this case RPE, respiratory protective equipment, which is extremely important to healthcare workers and Doctors . ) Medtecs main business is in PPE and with hospital throughout the world now calling for stocking up of mask and PPEs, medtecs should get a huge increase in orders for its PPEs particularly RPEs . The Singapore government has already put in plan the compulsory use of PPE by healthcare workers in Singapore hospital dealing with the infectious disease (source : ST news , CNA) which is human to human transmissible. Hence for medtecs intl, this could be a potential windfall for increase revenue
