x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Almost all countries with the ability to provide financial aids and stimulus have done so and are willing to do more should they be needed.  Therefore, I don' t really see stocks with good fundamentals like UOB going below 19.  This downturn is not like the one in 2008/2009 where there were tremendous strains on the financial institutions because of subprime problems this downturn is due more about shutdowns and people out of work so banks are not the worst hit.  Granted COVID-19 is still out there and further shutdowns not ruled out, economies are beginning to reopen and people streaming back to work.  The only missing piece is a vaccine to calm nerves.  So overall, I am at peace with the fact I am unusually active in the stock market these days. What would-be investors of UOB ought to take note is its share value.  With PB=0.94 and PE=8.65, it is still great value to pick up at current price.  Any further drop would only make the stock even more attractive that even UOB itself would happily buyback its shares.  In fact, all 3 local bank counters are attractive based on current evaluation.  However, retailer investors are naturally kiasi (and greedy) whenever the market is bearish.  Many are waiting for it to drop further before considering buying.  I would say if you have the power to hold then the share is attractive enough to buy. One thing is certain - UOB has always dishes out dividend and many times more than one time in a year (prelim (and/or special and final) AND always buyback whenever its share gets ridiculously low.  I' d UOB many years and a weeks ago load another lot at 19.69.  So I am good and will revisit when the next dividend cycle comes around
