Investor8      ( Date: 02-Jun-2020 08:06) Posted: If you are new to the stock market, may I suggest that you put aside the funds to pay for what you bought, i.e. don' t over-commit.  There are contra players (those who buy with a view to sell at a higher price before they are required to pay for the shares) who buys more shares than they can afford to pay.  When it comes time to pay for the shares and they are not able to do so, their brokers will force-sell the shares and they will suffer losses.  This will obviously be the case since they would have sold quickly if the price went up.  The main reason they didn' t or couldn' t sell was because the share price had dropped and it was painful to cut losses. If you are holding it for at least a 6 months, I think you should be able to make money.  Price may come down a bit later on (correction), but I think you should be able to see some positive movements on 22 June (after AGM on 19 June) and after early or mid-August after company announces their Q2 results
