x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yep, when any major mkt index around the world down, STI almost sure to follow.  When all up, sometimes STI will follow, but not always.  Operational tools - the three local bks main movers.  Nothing to do with fundamentals.  Everything to do with sentiment n manipulation.  Just posting a link to an article showing regulator vigilance in America to enlighten all on what mkt enforcers elsewhere are doing ......  US stocks regulator increases scrutiny of algorithmic trading The mkt in America is far larger, liquidity is way higher n there are many n diverse players.  Is there manipulation or attempted ones?  I wld think so.    But because of the mkt size, diversity, depth  n width, trying to manipulate the mkt there is extremely far more difficult I wld imagine.  Added to it is the vigilance of regulation n enforcement actions, assisted by very sophisticated and constantly updated technology.  Here leh?    Decide for urself.  Take a look at the daily buy-sell qs, trading patterns n inconsistent volumes of so many of the stocks listed here n draw ur own conclusions.  Great percentage of stocks are hardly traded, but can suddenly wake up  then go back to  hibernation again.  Why?
